My close friends Haley and Keaton celebrated their wedding at the Belle Tout Lighthouse, a lovely bed and breakfast on the southern coast of England. It overlooks the chalky Seven Sisters cliffs and sits close enough to the cliff side that it will soon erode away and need to be relocated. But for now, these two and a handful of loved ones were able to celebrate in a country that they hold close to their hearts.

Haley and Keaton found the Belle Tout Lighthouse by chance while searching for the best bed and breakfasts in the world. They have a deep love for England so the lighthouse just made sense. It had just enough rooms to comfortably house them, their rad parents, myself and a couple of influential friends. To say I’m honored to have been invited along is a total understatement. I’m incredibly grateful for the chance to celebrate my friends marriage and to have vacationed so intimately with them for the entire week. Most importantly though I’m just thrilled to see them married in a way that felt right for them.

The wedding itself was gorgeous. Gusty winds blew her friends gown as she radiantly stood before us all and married them. They recited their own vows and loved ones warmed their rings, wishing them luck and sending prayers their way. They ended the evening over fantastic food and drinks at a local pub before heading back to the lighthouse where we stayed up well past 2am telling stories about them.
